Entrepreneurship is a lot of GuessWork.

But the best entrepreneurs aren’t just the ones with the best guesses, they’re the ones who know how to work through them.

We don’t believe there is a “formula” for successful innovation. It still relies on a lot of individual smarts, and even more so on timing.

But, we do believe that there are skills, approaches, experts and tools, which that can help any founder test their ideas faster; lowering the risk of building the wrong product, or investing too long and too much into a flawed business model.

We help early-stage founders and intrepreneurs apply these skills to their ideas in search of problem market and then product-market fit. We get their ideas to market faster, cheaper and with a higher chance of success.

We also believe we need to introduce these skills earlier, so school students know this is a path for them, and one that can take them from success in the corporate sphere, to innovating in the public sector, to owning their own businesses. Innovation is the transferrable skill the next generation sorely needs.

Our Approach

We know how to design workshops that work. Bringing theory to life in a way that is actually applicable, so skills can be picked up and used straight away, and new mindsets aren’t forgotten the next week.

We then bring in incredible innovators and trainers with their own inspiring stories to deliver the sessions. Ensuring you’re never having someone teach who hasn’t done it themselves. Our workshop designs mean they don’t have to worry about how to translate their approaches and learnings into something others can use; but their practical own experiences mean they’re never answering questions as if they learned it from a text book.

A little Background on Our Own Founder…

GuessWorks was founded in 2021 by Hattie Willis, a Venture Builder, Startup Coach and Trainer, Speaker and Facililator. GuessWorks draws on Hattie’s expertise and experiences working with thousands of founders, leading workshops, and also as a former Head of Training at Innovation Consultancy Rainmaking Innovation.
